I have found a link (http://nullinfo.s21.xrea.com/) to a page of (mostly) japanese looking filters for avisynth. Now this looks very interesting, but I couldn't find any enlightenment here, on avisynth.org nor on warpenterprises. The docs are in japanese and I'm not fluent.
Does anybody know what they exactly do and how to use them? Or would a japanese member be so kind so as to translate the readmes for us?
A few of those filters:
-DeDot
-LGhost
-Eraseghost(Aupas)
-AddWatermark
-DeBlot
-ViewAudio and so on
They all seem to come with the source code too :)

FredThompson translated some japanese pages. I can't find the links atm (I will ask him).

Fred's page is out-of-date; it doesn't mention some of the filters currently listed on the original site.

Here's a machine-translated version (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/body/?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Fnullinfo.s21.xrea.com%2F&submit=%83E%83F%83u%83y%81%5B%83W%96%7C%96%F3&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2&wb_co=excitejapan) that should give you the gist of what's on the page. (excite.co.jp's Japanese translator (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/) easily produces better results than Babelfish.)

On a related topic, here's a Japanese page full of user-defined functions (http://niiyan.s8.xrea.com/avisynth/user_defined_function_list.html) (and here's the machine-translated version (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/body/?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Fniiyan.s8.xrea.com%2Favisynth%2Fuser_defined_function_list.html&submit=%83E%83F%83u%83y%81%5B%83W%96%7C%96%F3&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2&wb_co=excitejapan)).

Thank you very much for all the info :) though I have no doubt that plenty will benefit. It would be really nice to be able to contact the authors and put the filters on warpenterprise, but it seems that the author of the page can't even contact them himself...(If I understand the translation)

Oh btw, I saw you are linked in the user_defined page stickboy :D

Came across this today: a Japanese weblog about AviSynth (http://niiyan.s8.xrea.com/blosxom/avisynth/). (Machine translated version (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/body?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Fniiyan.s8.xrea.com%2Fblosxom%2Favisynth%2F&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2).)

Have you seen niiyan's english page? He posted a link here at this very same forum (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=503042#post503042). Hope that helps :J
