It's finally time to update ffdshow in the Matroska Packs. It's the most stable version since last years old version, stable enough for the ffdshow team to officially release it to the public. Read here:

The current version of ffdshow in the Matroska Packs is so legacy they don't playback most of the new encodes. All my new encodes using Xvid 6of9 custom matrix will screw up when played using the old ffdshow. It's time to set aside personal differences and move on, just for the sake of making the lives of end-users easier.

Cool, we were actually planning to make a new pack for the coming days with lots of updates and additions. I hope the AR compatibility problems are fixed (you never know which version you should use).

Us not packaging current ffdshows has nothing to do with personal differences whatsoever. We simply don't want to package a MPEG4 encoder.
