Hi all.
I was basically working with a bunch of captured DV files the other day - and I had lots of files. So, I was demuxing the audio from them with VDM - straght to wav - so I could re-encode them to something smaller. You know: buisness and normal. I would normally open up several files, get them going, and come back in 5 and they'd be done.
However, then for no reason, it stoped working. I'd click "save to wav", type my file name in, press save and... NOTHING would happen. I thought no biggie, and simply got normal VirtualDub, since I can rip the audio fine with that. However, then I relised the save function in Mod was broken across ALL fields - saving audio to wav, demuxing mp3 audio to .mp3, saving a file as .avi, .ogm you name it - it's broken.
Normal VirtualDub is sufficing for the time being, but now I want my Mod back.
I tried deleteing the Mod directory, redownloading it, and reinstalling it. I've also got the latest update (.exe) from the SourceForge site, but of course, I'm still getting the problem.
I'm running Windows XP with SP1 and I'm running Direct X9. I really don't know what else to say, as this problem has me confused - I don't see why the save function would get borked like this in the first place, and I really don't have any idea how to fix it - apart from reformating.
So, does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks a lot.
