OK don't know if this has been covered but my puney search powers say not, I'm trying to backup a TV series the DVDs for which I own. It's on DVD9s with 4 episodes a disk so it's easy to split onto 2 DVD5s, to that end I've got 4 files waiting to go on each disk, the files where ripped using DVD Decrypter splitting VOBs on Cell ID and then reassembled by episode using the following linked method.

I end up with

VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_02_1.VOB
VTS_02_2.VOB

and I know how to create IFO and BUP files using the above linked method but that only works for 1 episode, how could I modify this simple system to have the most basic of menus giving episode 1 and 2 (and possibly 3 or 4).

Thanks in advance.

NT5, AthloneXP 1500, 512MB RAM, 240Gig RAID (E:), 40G (C:).

try dvdshrink: simply create one disk where you replace episode 3 and 4 with a still image, then a second disk with episode 1 and 2 as stills. this way you keep all the menus and still have only 2 episodes per disk!
