Just some info.
I recently decided to backup some DVD's.
I used DVDDecryptor to rip the streams.
When I reauthor (simple menues), I find
that 50% of the rips are out of sync.
I don't believe that this is the fault of the ripper.
There is something that isn't recognized by the
rippers.
To wit:
Apocalypse Now: Audio sync out by about 4.5 seconds.
Casablanca: audio sync out by about 2 seconds.
Dr Strangelove: begining out by nearly 2 seconds; stretch
rest of audio by one second; clip first 38
seconds first, then add later.
Well, that's my expierence. Make of it as you will.
