I am ready to buy a DVDR drive, and of course I have been looking around for the best one. I decided to buy the AOpen DUW1608/APR (http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters.php?DVDnameid=658&Search=Search&list=0#comments).
But then I read a post in the doom9 forum by alexnoe (read post here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=32381&highlight=AOpen)) that said that "The only drive I know that can't read DVD+R is AOpen 16x" in refrence to DVDRW media.
Is this the only limitation or issue with the drive that anyone knows of? Should I avoid the drive? ANY knowlege about the particular drive is welcome. Thanks a lot
