help with altering file sizes

hi all.... i have a few avi files that i need to decrease its size so that they will fit onto a 700mb cd .. i need to shave off a max of about 10mb..


any help...

Well if there is any type of intro or if you're willing to chop off the credits you could edit it in vdub and resave the file.

OR

If you have a high audio sample rate, you could demux the audio and video streams, resample the audio rate and then remux them back together.
