I revieved some svcd's from my brother in law and when i try to load them into DVDLab it says that the file is encrypted. when i try to copy the the .mpg file to my HD it says it goes fine until about halfway through the time remeining jumps up to 101 mins. i would like to put the 3 svcd's onto a dvd so that i can play it in my dvd player. im kind of new to svcd's so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I know about DVDLab, but I've never used it. What it is telling you can't be correct, assuming you do have SVCD files. SVCD does not support file encryption. Are you REALLY sure you have SVCD discs? Look at the contents of the SVCD disc. If you have several directories and one of them is named MPEG2, it is SVCD. If you have a directory named MPEGAV but not MPEG2, you either have VCD or a SVCD that does not follow the standards. The video file will be in the MPEG2 directory (MPEGAV for VCD) and will be calling something like AVSEQ01.DAT. If you see a VIDEO_TS directory, what you have is DVD and that's why the file is encrypted.
