your opinion of dvd Brands

Could I get some input from everyone on their opinion of dvds? I was looking online for a place to buy them (hopefully cheaper) but I don't want to get a cheap brand that is no good. Currently I use verbatim. All the ones I priced are 4X 4.7GB. Some of the brands I saw online were Sonic, Matrix, Optodisc, Prodisc, Ritek,Intenso, Linkyo and SuperMedia. If you use another brand of disc let me know the name and how they have worked for you. Thanks to everyone for your help!!!! Any information will be helpful.

It is hard to answer this without your hardware but I have had very good results with Ritek and Prodisc. Taiyo Yuden is the best there is but also the most expensive. The problem with "brand" names is they often change the media with no warning and it can go from good to bad in mid stack. Many drives favor +R or -R so you need to figure out which one you want that is best for your drive. Also many of the brands you mentioned are "house" brands and are usually over priced.
