Hi
Im now trying for 4 Days, to encode something to SVCD, with VBR and DVD compatible... and everytime Tmpg crashes...
Either it gets an read error at adress .... or it simply restarts my computer, or, once, it just disappeared.
I saw a list with tricks to solve it...
I tried everyone... decompressed the audio, made a higher priority for the (forgot the name) filter, and I even tried frameserving with virtual dub... and today, after 6 hours, it crashed with the read error at 94%

Any other suggestions? Or alternatives for tmpg?
thx.

The only time I've seen similar, is when a) I'd run out of disk space,
and b) The memory settings in the BIOS were set too fast !

enter the bios and rty slowing down the memory - at least it's
simple to try and can be eliminated quickly.

In my system, I went from 522 (far to ambitious) to 632.

System is much more stable, and the difference in perfromance is
not noticable.

Of course, other related issues like overclocking should be
considered.
