Hi
Does someone know a programm that could exactly tell me if the source
is interlaced or progressive?
I heard that BitrateView is not allways right and I don't trust my eyes
enough :)
thx

Lots of stuff written on the topic here, give the search button a go and you'll be reading for hours.
Use DVD2AVI (you installed it with the DVD2SVCD program bundle), choose open from the file menu and load the first .vob(dvd2avi will load the rest), then choose preview from the option menu and you will get a very informative information panel appear while the source in question plays.
You really don't have to worry too much unless you see "combing" (the fields seperating), combing shows up on "preview" window in DVD2SVCD too.
