Sex and the City colors

Hi,

I am having trouble encoding Sex and the City. I am using Divx 5.11 and Flask (I know old, but it's easy and works for me). I have the BR at 450 and using the "standard" slider setting.

Anyway, the AVI output colors do not look the DVDs's. Everything looks more green then it should. Anyone know what can cuase this and how to correct it? Thanks.

Are you cropping/resizing the image before encoding?

At 450kbps, you can't expect much of DIVX :p

pls do yourself a favour and give autoGK a try! it's not much harder to use and will produce _WAY_ better results!

Thanks for all the responses. I am writing this for the archives.

The problem turns out to be the video card driver. I have Nvidia Quadro card.

The symptons:
- all Divx playback seems to have a green shift to them
- playing the same Divx on other systems are normal
- installing newer the driver causes playback to be normal, but as soon as I run flask, all playback becomes messed up

The solution:
- install older version of the Nvidia driver
- I tried 5.3.x.x and 6.1.7.6 and they exhibit the same problems
- I went back to the oldest driver I had, 4.3.x.x, and that seem to solve the problem.
