Hi
is DVD-Rebuilder will plan to encode menu like movie and extra ?
That would be great to add this feature instead of keep original menu :)
Thanks in advance for an answer

It's coming at some point. It would already be able to encode menus but bugfixing is more important than adding new major features.

For the time being you can do what many seem to do (me included) to rip the disc with dvdshrink so you just encode the menu 70-80% depending on how good the results are (or still picture the other languages in the menu) and then encode with RB. Works great and can save you 50-200MB.
To save time from deep-analyzing the whole movie I do it like this:
1. Switch to reauthor mode and drag the menus into the new disc.
2. Test which percentage gives good results (usually dont go below 75%)
3. Switch back to full disc and put everything on no compression and encode the menu by the desired amount.
That way shrink has already deep-analyzed the menu part and wont do it for the "no compression" video part.

Thanks for this (complete) advice :)

You can try using NuMenu4U in the Big3 forum. It uses CCE to re-encode the video.
The newest version uses Scenarist, but if you download the old version (1.02) it doesn't. Also, I have yet to get the new version to work myself, the old version works great except there is a certain type of menu it can't handle (menus with duplicate cells).

i try IFOEdit + IFOUpdate with my original IFO/BUP but same thing
i can't access to my Extra/Bonus, DVD player turn off
Any of you have an idea how to create new and correct IFO with a new menu (VTS_01_0.vob) ???
Thanks in advance
