Hi,

Can anyone tell me if VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod can write to AVI-OpenDML container? I assume that it does AVI-Legacy by default yes?

Just wondering as the overhead, according to the XviD calc, is lower by about 2MB for OpenDML which would come in handy for an extra 2MB in the audio, etc.

TIA :)

I believe the newer VirtualDub(Mod) uses OpenDML by default but you can also save as a legacy avi (Save old format AVI in vdub).

VDubMod can only write Hybrid files and Legacy AVI, but no pure Open-DML.
