My question didn't seem to match any other forum, so here it goes
I'm trying to edit a movie (ripped from my DVD using smart Ripper 2.41). I ripped the files in movie mode, all chapters selected, with file splitting set to " each vob file "
Stream processing was enabled, and I chose the option of map to 0xYY for all streams. I then use Vstrip 0.8F to de-mux the M2V and AC3 files.
Here's where I start having trouble. The length of the video and audio files are never the same, with the audio varying in length from 30 seconds to four or more minutes longer than the M2V.
I'm trying to use Cuttermaran 1.57 to do my editing. I really need to get this AC3 mismatch figured out and under control so I can do my thing. Thinking about using some other program to split the ac3 files to the right lengths?
Appreciate any help/links/better methods anyone could give me with this pain in the butt.
