Hey guys, i have used the cce method before. Specifically using dif4u, reauthorist/docce4u and scenarist. I never have had problems however just recently i purchased a new system and I had to reinstall all of my cce programs. Anyways, when I got to multiplexing in scenarist i got the following error.

Info Multiplexing
Info Multiplexing VOB Main Stream
Error Subpicture[5] (583:VTS_01_VSUB_P1A1-04-WL-En_582.sp) and (584:VTS_01_VSUB_P1A1-04-WL-En_583.sp) offset are overlapped (00:03:59:23-00:03:59:24) and (00:03:59:24-00:03:59:25)
Error dvd_mux : Open Mux_list File Error
Error Terminated Multiplexing (Spiderman.scn-VTS_01_PGC_01_t.vob).
Error Wrong mux_list. Mux_list format or stream ID may be wrong.
Error Multiplex is failed.
Info Multiplexing failed, Track<VTS_01_PGC_01>

Error MuxFromDB:MuxVTS failed
Error Multiplex failed
Error DVD files could not be created

Anyone know what could have went wrong, what could I do to prevent this from happening or any tips/suggestions as to what could have caused this?

Thanks for the help guys.

hi IronMonk,

didnt we just discuss this in irc? :sly:

anyways, the error is telling you that you have two (no. 583 and 584) subs that are overlapping, and this is not allowed in scenarist. so...
open track vts_01 in 'track editor' and look at your substream 5 - P1A1-04 = substream 5, and find subpic no. 583 (you can use the magnifying glass to zoom in if needed) and adjust the duration by 1 or 2 frames LESS than the original. note: you adjust these times in the property browser (bottom middle window)

however, if you want a real challenge (and a more accurate back-up) check out this guide: A Beginners Guide to Button Over Video (http://www.doitfast4u.com/SPIDEY_GUIDE/A%20Beginners%20Guide%20to%20Button%20Over%20Video.htm)
it will show you how to keep the BoV functionality and a few other tricks.

good luck

thanks Séamus,
any feedback (especially when it positive :p ) is always appreciated.
:D
although it would be remiss of me not to point out the huge help i had in completing the guide from Eyes`Only, RB, and Influenza.
hopefully i will get the opportunity over the next few weeks to update the guide with all the latest releases of the programs but till then the theory should be the same.
cheers
