Decrypting leaked into other movies

I decrypted several movies onto my 200gig drive, now I find that parts of these movies have taken over some of my other movies. For example: I ripped and encoded One Hour Photo, one of my other movies that I had prior to the rip is now One Hour Photo in spanish, another is in french, and another has part of the outtakes. May be because I was ripping and encoding simultaneously?

Why did it do this? Has it happened before? How can it be prevented?

if (and only IF! ;) ) I get you correctly with what you are saying, then you've become witness of an extremly seldom physical phenomenon.

What happened was, that a quantum knot decided to explode, within the same "area" of the (assumingly) 21-dimensional meta-space than your actual position.
The quantum explosion has shot something into this meta-space that can be compared to what a shotgun would do to a super-marshmallon big as a house ... something like microtunnels, that are winding in not imaginable sorts of windings in-through all hyperspaces finally back to the same location from where they started. But this "returning outcome"'s of those tunnels are a tiny little bit "smeared" in manifestation in-over time and space, so there is something like a small "jitter" in the exactness of the returning output. But nevertheless, the ultimate-ness of the created connection is fully present ...

Through this extraordinary phenomenon, by pure accident some parts of your movies got swapped with parts of some other movies, caused by the strangeness of this undescribable "same-being-ness" of both in- and outputs of those "quantum-confetti-tunnels", which should have been *exactly* the same, but in fact *were not*.

Part of the result you already have seen. Now you should check if the content of the DVD you're ripping from still has the same content than before. - From some rough estimations using quantum mechanics, I'd say there is a 40%~46% probability that the DVD's content *has* changed.

This is not unusual at all, and there is simple explanation:
Your disk is over 128 MB, and Windows version can not handle it correct. When some data goes on part of disk over 128 GB it will go actually to begin of drive. Correct place - 128 MB is formula where goes.
SP1 for Win XP fixes that problem.

i'm thinking maybe all the discs are ripped to the same folder and share the same VTS_01_blah structure.

bits might have got overwritten, and other bits might not have depending on the sizes of the discs used and their file structures. i know .IFO files are fairly robust, and can be made to point to completely different files and still play back okay in some decoders.

but we'll need more information than that.

Since Daniel hasn't returned, we really don't know what the root cause of his trouble was. I suspect that he'd turned his PC on it's side, and all the bytes fell off the disk.

I'm sorry for not responding, because I did not fix the problem. I am unable to download the service pack 1 for XP due to a file accessability error :). Is there another way I could update windows so that it will properly operate my 200gig drive?

If you go to Microsoft's home page, they were offering a free update disk (I guess to ease the amount of d/l from their servers). All you have to do is give them your address and they will send it to you.
