4.5GB instead of 4.7GB

I have a Sony DVD-Burner that only records +R\+RW blank media, the only problem is that Nero, the burning program that I'm currently using, only let me use 4.5GB of space instead of the 4.7GB that appears written in the disc. Is there any solution?
The speed of the unit is 2.4x if that matters.

DVD-R/W: 4,707,000,000 Bytes, i.e. 4,489 MB or 4,38 GB
DVD+R/W: 4,700,000,000 Bytes, i.e. 4483 MB.
DVD+R9 (somewhen available): 8,500,000,000 Bytes
