What is Swap Field Order and when to use it? I use only PAL DVD's and I set the Field Operations setting usually to "none".

Swap Field Order was removed from newer versions because it really isn't necessary at this stage.

When you encode the video, you can use SwapFieldOrder() in AviSynth to do the same thing. So, basically you don't need to use it.
