Idea for dvd-rb

I just got an idea to add to dvd-rb.

For my part, i'm confuse about the right VBR_bias and the Quality_prec. It would be great to get a program that run on a part of the movie, using different vbr and quality prec then output different files with the vbrbias and quality_prec used so we can quickly compare to know waht the best settings is?

It sounds like a lot of work for not a lot of benefit. I've played around with Quality_prec and not seen much visual impact. The default settings seem fairly good, but there are some recommended settings for certain situations...they're floating around here somewhere, hopefully someone will post a link.
