Ok I use the DVD Builder that is part of the Roxio Easy CD Creator package and I have a problem. I have a bunch of avi files of an Anime series. When I look at the file details through the DVD Builer, some of the files show a video bit rate of 0 and DVD Builder sys that it cannot recognise the file as a vieo file and will not let me burn it to DVD. Is there a way around this?

1) this is not a support forum for roxio, if you have problems with their sw it's probably easier to contact their support
2) "i have a bunch of avi files" - pls make sure you're not violating rule 6
3) are you sure you have the right codecs installed? - to check, download gspot and open the avi with it, it will tell you if you have all the necessary codecs installed or if you need another one (or two)
4) check out iespell ;)

Thanx for tip 3, ill try that out when I get the chance. But Im surew I have all the codecs since I can watch the avi through windows media player. I guess I should try encoding the avi's through another software. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Doom9's Format Conversion (http://www.doom9.org/conversionguides.htm) guides are a great place to start.
