Hello, i am new to this whole dvd autorithing thing, but i would really like to get in to it, today i wanted to rip an original anime r2 dvds which was around 4.8gigs "naruto volume 4" this dvd contains 3 episodes, i decided i didnt wanted to reencode so i deleted opening and ending for episode 2 and 3 with dvdremake and also the warning thing @ the beggining of the dvd, normally the r2 dvds plays the warning and then it starts from episode 1 and if you hit "title" on the remote you go to the title screen and you can select chapters etc, but on my backup i put it on my dvd and it doesnt play it automaticly, it stops and then i press play and starts to play from the episode 1 but the screen is black and i hear sound, if i skip the chapter and skip back to the first one everything plays ok, also during the opening and ending i deleted it freezes for some time and i have to skip to the next chapter, also when i hit title in the remote it stops :S, is there anyway i can tweak it so it loads the menu instead of starting from episode 1? or is there any other program that i can use to delete the chapters instead of dvdremake? note: this dvd is not like normal anime dvds all 3 episodes are in 1 file , i mean they are not in different like subfolders per episode like on the simpsons. thank you:confused:

Start from the beginning. Bypass the warnings using 2Cool's guide (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50245) and ensure that DVD works as desired before stripping unwanted video. Check it with a software player like PowerDVD v4+ that can play a DVD folder from hard drive.
IfoEdit doesn't support menus in authoring mode, so the new IFOs it creates are not going to help you.
