K i read everywhere about this setting but 1 thing is not clear for me. CCE 2.50 scale is 0-100 and CCE 2.67 scale is 0-64. Everybody says a good setting for CCE 2.67 is around 30-40 then if I convert it to 2.50 scale it would be more like 50-60 BUT i read on several guides that the recommended value for 2.50 is 15 so I was
This recommendation comes from the SVCD area where you are operating at very low bitrates where avoiding mosquito noise is more important than a little color banding. For DVD bitrates above approx. 3000 kbps, definitely use a higher IQP.

So a good value for DVD would be 30, as apears in the guides?
Yes, although I would decrease this a little if bitrate is below 4000 kbps. For instance for a 3000 kbps encode I typically use 25. This is for CCE 2.66+ which uses a range of 0-64 for this setting, keep in mind CCE 2.50 uses 0-100.
