hmm..playback problems with a backup.

I made a backup of one of my movies. However it will not play on my living room DVD player but it will with my bedroom DVD player. My living room dvd player plays other movies I have backed up with the same discs. This a common problem? I know I could just make another backup and get rid of the old one however im just curious if its somthing possibly I did wrong.


I use DVD shrink and nero 6 ultra edition to backup my DVD's.

Use Nero CD-DVD speed to test the disk. Post the results. also tell us what brand of media you're using...find out its media code using dvdinfo pro.

Add: Use a regular dvd-rom drive to read test the disc unless your burner is a bad/average reader.. since many burners can read almost anything.
