I have an avi file that crashes the player as soon as it tries to play it, i ran gspot over it and it says its an xvid and that the file is complete. I then diabled to video codec and it sounds fine but i can't get the video to work with out crashing any player, has anyone seen a problem like this.
The player i have tried are windows media v9, divx player and tcmp

What decoder is used to decode the file?

NEVER EVER USE CODEC PACKS!
