automate multi-angle + button-over-video?

I've recently started experimenting with the Big3 (new guide), and after 1 succesful try (Highlander R2, very easy) I decided to try other movies.

The movies I'm currently trying are The Matrix (PAL) and Ice Age (PAL). After failing and searching on the forum here I found out that both can be pretty hard to reencode (keeping everything intact), especially The Matrix.

Is there any chance that the Big3 will be able to reencode both titles (almost) fully automatically soon?
Which programs must be updated to support this?
I guess it's ScenAid to begin with for the final authoring, but must DIF4U and BatchCCEWS be updated too?

I'm still very new to the reauthoring and I think that by the time I've spent enough time experimenting DL layer discs will be affordable (and reliable) for hard titles like this..

Nothing available can do automated (or even non automated) ILVU (seamless branching like Matrix *its not multi-angle) titles to exact replication. big3 method can come closest to doing it at all. It will take some work as you said. i wouldnt advise doing something like matrix until you are used to the method.. since less than 1% of dvds are seamless branching this isnt a big limitation. oh and speaking your DL time frame.. i can do matrix in a day (and i dont mean sitting in front of the pc the whole time.. im including encoding time).. right now you can buy a second copy of the matrix cheaper than backing it up on DL.

big3 is the only cce method that can do angle titles (automated of not). and.. as far as button over video (automated).. that is being addressed. d3s7 is working hard to add that fully to scenaid.

as a final note.. i think big3 method is for enthusiasts who would like the highest quality backups and are prepared to put a little time into it.. certainly DL media will be affordable someday ( and i consider them affordable at slightly over double dvd-5 media prices... until then im sticking with dvd-5) . at that point you can do impossible to do titles or even all of them.. just keep your originals in a safe until then ;)

Ice age should work. I did it completely manually, but scenaid should be at a point that it should be able to do it automated for you.

Really? Could Ice Age be done automatically? Because DIF4U still says that manual use of Scenarist may be needed.
How do I know when it's needed and when not?

Ice Age contains 1 extra with 5 angles, the rest is very straightforward.
