GOP sequence header too long

And i cant process the files through TMPEG DVD AUTHOR.Why is this happening?

hmmmm..... it's one of those self-answering question

i had the same problem, i had the gop set to 00 (no limit) instead of 18 for ntsc, 15 for pal, unfortunaly, my harddrive got corrupted, lost about everything, so no help there.

Are you trying to use TMPG Author to gather input directly from the DVD? I had this problem and the solution was to use DVD Decryptor and then run TMPG Author on the decrypted VIDEO_TS folder. The problem seemed to result from the DVD being encrypted.

what I do to fix this problem. if you are using tmpgenc plus to encode your mpeg. you need to go to the gop setting and add 18 on the max gop for NTSC or 15 for Pal.

I always do this on all my mpeg that I encode with tmpgenc plus.
