Hi,
I am currently using windows 2000, however after a serious error i have decided to finally reinstall windows (been putting it off for ages).
Now my question is what version of windows should i go for 2000, XP or server 2003.
I have currently used 2000 for several years and I like it a lot.
I tried XP when it first come out and although I liked XP it became unacceptably slow and unstable within a week. However there has been a Service pack and many updates which may have improved XP to the point where it is better than 2000.
The final option i have is server 2003. Although it is not made for workstations it can be set up as a workstation and appears to be quite good, but i am not sure about compatibility as there is not a huge selection of drivers.
So If anyone with experience with these OS's has any suggestions it would help me a lot.
Thanks
