Hello all.

I had a movie clip in .img format. I wanted to convert it from PAL to NTSC using Procoder 2.5. So far this is what I have done.

-Converted .img to DVD format using DVDShrink
-Demuxed VOB file using VOBEdit.
-Converted m2v file using Procoder. Outputing 'VOB ready for burn' leaving me with a VIDEO_TS folder with several vob files.

How do I?
-Remux the vob files with the AC3 audio file? How do I burn VOB files to DVD?

Is there?
-An easier process for taking a DVD image, converting with Procoder, burning onto a DVD? In other words I suspect some of the steps I took may have be unneccesary.
-what the best tools for the job?

I was wondering if there was a guide for this exeact process out there? I am a relative newbie, but have a very basic understanding of DVD.

Thanks!!

first the .img file isnt a dvd file etc .. its an ISO file just like .bin and .iso ..

inside the iso file you will find audio and video dvd dirs... inside theres a dvd structure with vob files na ifo files etc.

why did u have the movie as .img at the first place? DC source?

not my problem. but

How do I?
-Remux the vob files with the AC3 audio file? How do I burn VOB files to DVD?

what are you doing?
you got the mpeg and sound file seperated.. then converted the video to an NTSC foramt.. then joined the sound and video, got it authored "ready for burn" ... why are you asking when you have the answear?

and WHY do you want to remix the final work AGAIN .. i mean.. after you done all the work in Procoder, a program i dont know, then it sais its ready to burn a DVD.. why on earth dont you just b urn and shut the hell up? *sorry my language* =))))

i mean no harm, i sometimes use bad language :)

well this is what i would do:

strip the movie into VIDEO and AUDIO .. that you have done, and you opend up it in Procoder to make this PAL into NTSC. this you do in Procoder. Is this program also for authring?

Like does it make Video_TS dir and you see vob files and ifo bup files?

If so then just openup a burning program like nero, choose dvd video.. place the files into the DIR VIDEO_TS that nero already made for yha! =))

This simple it is. got more questions just reply and i shall try to help you out

peace bro!

So I break up(DVDShrink) the .img into VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS and demux the audio/video from the vob file and get a m2v and AC3. Then I convert the(PAL) m2v into NTSC and Procoder outputs VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders. Problem is the vob files don't have any audio cause it was demuxed.

you got the mpeg and sound file seperated.. then converted the video to an NTSC foramt.. then joined the sound and video, got it authored "ready for burn" ... why are you asking when you have the answear?

How do I remux(?) the audio back 'into' the vob file? This is the question.
Is there a better way to output the files in Procoder?

Is there a better way to do what I am trying to do?

I would use IfoeEdit to mux them.

well when you have your NTSC.m2v and audio.mpa or .wav

open ifoedit, dvd author and choose m2v and audio file.. then the program will create a dvd structure and split the movie into 2-3 vob files á 1gig aprox .. and alot of other files.. now just burn it.
