Region 1 to Region Free is video ntsc or pal

Can someone please advise. I have a copied DVD which is region free, it was copied from an American disk. Took it to a friends house to play and is came up with an error saying it couldn't play as it wasn't PAL. In Nero info tool it shows that it is region free although video shows NTSC. is there a way to recopy but to have the video as PAL? preferably just using Shrink or DVD decrypter.

Search (http://forum.doom9.org/search.php?s=) the forums for NTSC to PAL conversion. Such a conversion requires a lot of time and effort by the way; you might consider buying a new multisystem player instead.
