Hi,
I'm trying to get a complete backup of a fairly simple DVD.
If I run NuMenu4u from DIF4U I get
Runtime error 75
Path file access error
If I run it directly on the disk, I get
Runtime error '5'
Invalid procedure call or argument.
After either it quits processing.
Could it be a file version compatilbility problem?
I'm running
DIF4U 1.4.7.0
DVD Decriptor 3.2.3.0
AVI Synth 2.5.4
So far as I can tell NuMenu is not dependent on any other tools.
Please help,
Regards,
j.

@the-moog
I found a nasty bug today myself that manifests itself if using an output location that is deep on the drive eg: my documents. I had the same erros. What was the working directory you chose?

I first used ...\My Documents\.... but though perhaps the problems were with spaces in file paths.
I've seen lots of other software that calls scripts and batch files and forgets to quote filepaths\names, so the space is treated as a keyword separator.
To I changed it to
c:\a_folder_like_this
That made no difference.
At the point it fails, the log is doing
"Analysing LOG and DV2 files, and correcting audio delay"
It then causes a windows application error and is closed.
Later down the line, the menu DV2's are blank, Scenarist complains that they contain no video frames, even though they have a length.
P.S. The SAVE browse dialogue is asking for a folder, it shows all iles too, if the first folder name is present in the 2nd, then it keeps on going until it can't find that folder name, perhaps a different dialogue would improve it?

Still fighting with this....
I've spent ages on it, with no progress.
On a different DVD, NM4U does not come up with an error when run stand-alone, but the following error occurs in its log when run from within DIF4U.

When I run it on its own, it works, then generates the update_menu batch file. If that is run, IT then has errors.
Is there a manual for the menu_update?
