Enable searching on backup if original doesn't support it

Hi.

There are some original DVDs where in some streams from the extras (i.e. interviews, making of e.t.c.), you cannot scroll through them using the slider bar of PowerDVD. As a result, when I follow the big3 guide on this site, the backup doesn't support scrolling through either.

Is there any way to enable searching on the backup DVD+R, although the original does not support it ?

although i have never tested that this is possible when re-authoring a dvd in scenarist (you would have to deselect 'copy tmapti timetable' in ifoupdate) as i rarely use this function.

give it a go and see what happens

Damn me... I didn't have the slightest recollection of that discussion ! It looks like I'm getting older every day. :(
