Hi!
The thing I love about movie encoded in a sequence of VOBs is the way you can play it easily on your PC. When you encode your movie into several high-quality AVIs, you can still watch them in a playlist, one after another, but you miss on a very crucial advantage - the time slider that lets quickly jump anywhere in the movie. You can slide anywhere within the current AVI and then you have to jump to the next file in the playlist to be able to jump anywhere in that part of the movie. It just kills me. Or am I missing something? Is there a software video player out there that can play a sequence/playlist of AVIs like they are one movie (like when you do when you insert a commercial DVD and play it)? Anybody an idea, please??
Thx in advance!
