I have 2 vob files from 2 different DVDs. i used GordianKnot to make the AC3 file and encode it to DivX movie. The problem is, when i play the movie, the first file plays fine without any problems, but when the second file starts to play, audio is not synchronised to video and the video itself plays very slow. Seems like its playing at .5 speed. However after the audio ends, the video plays to the end at normal speed. How do i correct this.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Did you use DGDecode or DVD2AVI to join two unrelated VOB sets into a single .d2v project, in order to produce a single .avi file?
If that is what you are trying to do, then that is why your sound becomes desynchronized when the second VOB set starts. The sound and video in each VOB set have different delays, and sometimes different lengths than the video. VOB sets cannot be joined in that fashion. (I don't have any explanation for yourslow video, unfortunately.)
I recommend either encoding the VOB sets separately, or else concatenating the two VOB sets with VOBedit, using the Join Clip function.
