Is that possible to insert the chapter info into the SVCD created using DVD2SVCD ?

So I can use "Next Forward" on my stand alone remote to jump to
the next chapter ?

Thank you.

Yes, you can create chapters. IIRC on the authoring tab. You can select equally sized chapters or original chapters.

@r6d2

Which tab ? I can not find the "authoring tab" from DVD2SVCD :(

Sorry, I meant the CD Image tab, where you do the authoring. You have to select VCDXBuild and then "DVD Chapters".

@r6d2,

Thank you for your "fast reply" :)

I finally can find "the tab".

Next question is how the DVD2SVCD read the chapter info/definition ?
Direct from .IFO files ? or we can override/control with simple text file with some kind of rule ?

Second is which PBC is the most acceptable for the stand alone player ?

Thank you.

which PBC is the most acceptable for the stand alone player ?You can override. Look at the "dvd2svcd chapters file" generated file for syntax. Edit it to your taste and resume from the proper stage.

I always use "PBC Use Selections", which IIRC, it is the default.

I think my old Pioneer does not support chapters :(

@r6d2,

Good news :

With "PBC Use Selections" I can finally use chapters on my stand alone player. I think my Pioneer is not too old :)

Thank you for the tips.
