DVD+Audio Creator Copyright Stuff

For those you do not know, DVD+Audio Creator supposedly takes your wav files, upsamples them and makes them close to SACD quality..then you can burn to DVD.

What I just found interesting is that they are having issues with copyright infringement with Sonic. See:

Anyone know what the infringement may be? Is Sonic involved with this audio stuff? Just curious.

The link says its alleged trademark infringement, not copyright infringement. So its going to have something to do with the company's name, the software's name, their logo, or something along those lines. I don't know off-hand what the alleged infringement is but Sonic Studio makes several different kinds of software packages including a SACD editor/creator. The are also an affiliate of Sonic Solutions which makes all kinds of video/audio software.
