hello together, i'm new here as you can see ;)

i'm trying out several DVD authoring tools to find out which I get the best results with ... and now i'm trying Scenarist 3.0.

I think I could get quite familiar with its complexity, but now i'm wondering about two things:

1. how do I add an audio stream to a still menu?
it is possible in DVD Maestro (or does Maestro do any tricks?), so why not in Scenarist? I don't always want do waste space for a still picture that I have to encode to a, say, 3 minutes long m2v just to add the audio stream.
Is there any other possibility?

2. i think it has been discussed not only once, but how to manage this best?:
I want to get two movies onto one DVD, how to arrange my Scenario then?
• two VTS, one Title each, inside the PGCs
• one VTS, two Titles, there the PGCs
• or one VTS and just one Title, and then the PGCs

I'd be very pleased if someone can help me.

Still menus can't have audio in scenarist, I don't know about Maestro.
As far as the two movies, it doesn't really matter how you do the set up. Personally I would make two VTS each with one title. That way you can make a menu in the VMG for the whole disk, and then each VTS can have it's own menu.

1. how do I add an audio stream to a still menu? When creating a menu track, select Slideshow menu instead of Still menu.

One VTS with two Titles is the easiest scenario for navigation between menus and titles.

Never put more than one PGC per title unless you're absolutely sure that you need to do this.

import assets.you drag and drop your background and subpicture jpg or bmp on the menu screen in the maestro.(first picture is background ,second picture is subpicture)and you drag and drop audio file on the menu.you look bottom in menu screen.click playback option and set still menu(or loop or timeout)..very easy still menu with audio on the maestro...and check video monitor.still menu good working with audio in the maestro.
Have nice days...
