The retards at work insist on not giving me admin rights to the computer I work on and I would really like to watch shows that I recorded and encoded the night before during my lunch brake. Is there any stand alone product or way to install xVid? Thanks for the help!

Since it seems that you only want to decode - try if you can install ffdshow or play the files with VideoLanClient.
