Hi i've been making mkv's lately and I was just wanting to know if you could repeat a clip at certain times. For example I have a dvd rip of an anime TV series and want to combine them into one MKV with chapters but want to know if I could loop the ending to save space instead of adding the ending after each episode. So play the episode then the ending then the next episode and so on like you can on a dvd... Is it possible?

I need this same feature. Would be possible if the control track was finished :)

This is planned since long, and even partially implemented, its called 'control tracks' .... do a search here for this expression, and a lot of answers will come up ...

AVI perfectly allows such a loop. I seem to have to implement this in AVI-Mux GUI :|

Hehe I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but like they said the control tracks are still not 100%. I don't mind having a 4 GB mkv with all the episodes and 1 intro and 1 ending for the whole file as long as it fits all on 1 DVD! Hehe imagine how many bits I would save with that!!!!

but i think what you want would need little bit more than only the possibility to loop at the end
