Menu Problem - Skipping & Freezing

After Decryping without any problem, on some of my DVDs I am getting a very wierd problem that I cant seem to solve.

It will play all logos up to the menu, the the menu will be jittery skipping (motion menu). Not allowing any selection at all, and if you are lucky enough to select play it will play the movie the same , jumping 5 mins or so at a time like a slideshow , sometimes with digital mess (green on screen).

However these play perfectly on Power Dvd even when burnt onto dvd. It only happends on my standalone player which to date has played everything and anything perfectly. (philips 701)

It doesnt seem to be DVD media as I have tried many different kinds.

So anybody who has heard of this problem or may know the answer please please help!

Check your media compatibility with your standalone using this link:

Your menu problem would be easier to troubleshoot if you'd mentioned how your backup was created. Which software? If it's Shrink, or one of the One Click app's, check the appropriate forum or run a search in the Authoring forum. Lots of people have had this problem, so run a good search, and don't give up too quickly. Good luck!

DVD Decypter then DVD2One.

I have serched everywhere but ive not seen people have this problem. Its definatly not the media, i have seen that compatability page already and have used the same dvd media for ages without fail until now (Ritek G04 & G05).

So if its not the media, what could be the cause of the scene and menu skipping?

DVD Decryper looks like it decrypts it fine , because it plays perfect on power dvd , even once ran through DVD2one. BUrn it onto disk , put the disc in the computer STILL FINE on power dvd. Yet not on stand alone.
