Has anyone found cheap(er) DL media? The cheapest I can find is a verbatim 10 pk for $25 at supermediastore.com

snowlock, you can't get DL media even near that cheap. Supermediastore along with meritline for baiting people. Supermediastores price for that DL media is for the Verbatim DL solution kit which includes ONLY 1 piece of DL media. They are also being deceptive with their price of $49.99 as Best Buy was the first to carry this solution kit and they had it for $29.99 from the day they started selling it.

Buyer Beware and if you put an order in for those disks you're gonna be in for a suprise when you get that package. DL individual disks are between $14 and $15 currently.

hm. that sucks. All of a sudden picking up a cheap DL burner isn't as cool as I thought it would be.

Yea, tell me about it. Supermediastore is really shady to even list that product the way they have. If I hadn't seen that 10 pack solution kit about a month ago in Best Buy I woulda thought they were all DL too. I mean the friggin' link under media which says 'DL' directs you right to that product and only that product. So someone who doesn't know could easily buy it. The damn name of the product by Verbatim is "DOUBLE LAYER" Solution Kit.

That is about as crappy as you can get. One DL disk and it's called a DL solution kit. And Supermediastore sure was quick to play off that. Saying the list price is $49.99 and acting as though there's some kind of sale. That's why sites like them and meritline don't get any of my business.

Yeah, somebody wake me up in 2007 when these discs will probably be selling for $2 each.
