I've recently started experimenting with the Big3 guide (the new one).
At this moment I've completed a testrun of a dvd (Highlander R2 dutch), but have a problem re-assembling the final dvd.
These files have been created:

\VIDEO_TS :
16-10-2002 17:26 14.336 VIDEO_TS.BUP
16-10-2002 17:26 14.336 VIDEO_TS.IFO
16-10-2002 17:00 157.696 VIDEO_TS.VOB
12-07-2004 14:44 18.432 VTS_01_0.BUP
12-07-2004 14:44 18.432 VTS_01_0.IFO
16-10-2002 17:00 157.696 VTS_01_0.VOB
16-10-2002 17:01 13.346.816 VTS_01_1.VOB
12-07-2004 14:53 88.064 VTS_02_0.BUP
12-07-2004 14:53 88.064 VTS_02_0.IFO
16-10-2002 17:00 917.504 VTS_02_0.VOB\0\VIDEO_TS :
12-07-2004 14:05 6.144 VIDEO_TS.BUP
12-07-2004 14:05 6.144 VIDEO_TS.IFO
12-07-2004 14:05 12.288 VTS_01_0.BUP
12-07-2004 14:05 12.288 VTS_01_0.IFO
12-07-2004 14:05 79.872 VTS_01_1.VOB
12-07-2004 14:05 75.776 VTS_02_0.BUP
12-07-2004 14:05 75.776 VTS_02_0.IFO
12-07-2004 14:09 1.073.518.592 VTS_02_1.VOB
12-07-2004 14:12 1.073.739.776 VTS_02_2.VOB
12-07-2004 14:16 1.073.537.024 VTS_02_3.VOB
12-07-2004 14:19 1.073.721.344 VTS_02_4.VOB
12-07-2004 14:21 372.424.704 VTS_02_5.VOB

The original files are dated 16-10-2002, and the new ones 12-07-2004.
VTS_01 is a short (20s orso) anti-copying warning, VTS_02 is the main movie.
I've only selected VTS_02 in DIF4U.

I copied all files from \VIDEO_TS to a new dir, and copied *.vob (VTS_01_1.VOB and VTS_02_*.VOB) from \0\VIDEO_TS to the same new dir. After this I updated VTS_02_0.ifo using ifoedit.

When I try to playback from this dir using hdplayback from PowerDVD, PowerDVD just crashes (.. has encountered an unexpected problem...)
When I use the original 13mb VTS_01_1.VOB (the anti-copying warning) the playback works fine.

But this is not my intention, i wanted to get rid of this annoying small warning.. Can someone point me to my mistake?

there are more then likely commands in there you need.. you can't just substitute vob sets that way..

I'd recommend leaving the original in tact (seeing how bitrates have been calced w/ it there and removing it won't do any good) then check out some of 2cool's guides to get rid of your messages

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but deselecting VTS's in DIF4U should result in effectively removing them from the DVD (the whole project), right?

Or does deselecting a VTS mean that that set won't be reencoded, and kept the same? If that's so, I should use other means to remove that set..

[update]
Well, I've used IfoEdit to change the entry point to the last sector of that intro movie, and now it effectively skips right to the menu.
Since the intro is very small in this case, 13mb non-reencoded, I'll keep it that way, but I'm gonna look into ways to remove it completely.

Before starting the whole Big3 steps again, to prevent bitrate calculation mistakes.
I've found some of 2COOL's guides, but I haven't succeeded in removing the .VOB (replacing with a blank didn't quite work).
--> VobBlanker did this job perfectly for me! That 13mb intro is gone from the .vob, and the menu still works.. GREAT ;)

[update2]
Mmmm stripping the DTS set worked fine, but the button for that audiotrack is still enabled in the menu.. I guess I have to find a way to disable that too.
Does anyone know a way to just disable 1 button?
--> Well, MenuEdit did the trick.. nice ;)

Yes.
What I do is, I deselect the parts I don't want in ReAuthorist. That way dummies are created, but the structure is kept.
