Very new and looking for alot of help!

This is just a general quesiton about DVD burners and the computers that go along with them. See I dont know much about computers and such but I'm looking into buying a new computer adn I want it to have a DVD burner in it. What computer would you recommend?

Any name brand computer that has a DVD burner has the right software for you to start playing with. The only problem with those computers is that you never really know what DVD burner you're going to get. It might end up being a no name brand, or it might be from a retail company. Also most new computers are now starting to ship with DVD burners so it won't be too hard to find. Just make sure you get a decent computer.

A Pentium 4, with 512 MB of Ram, and a large 80+ gigabyte hard drive and you should be all set for making your own DVD backups.
