Hi all,
I've successfully put several 'clips' onto DVD using DVDDecrypter, IfoEdit, Chopper etc. but for my next DVD I'd like to create a menu with a track list in order jump straight to particular sections(chapters)

Basically I have a VIDEO_TS folder with all the necessary items all ready ( IFO, BUP and VOBs ) to burn a DVD with NERO, all I want is a tool/process that will allow me to create a start menu page. I have DVDitPE, but you can't build menu's with VOB sources unfortunately.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks,
RG

Welcome to the forum!

Two programs are most often suggested as newbie solutions to authoring, TMPGEnc DVD Author (http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/index.html) and DVD-lab. This link will take you to Doom9's DVD-lab guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd-lab.htm), there you'll find a link to the program itself.

just use nero the way you always do, but enable menus, when burning to dvd, unless your using youre own encoded content, the menus should already be there, created by the studio or whatever and integrated in the IFO./ VOB's. If you are using your own encoded content, just go to Nero (assuming your using v6)- nerovision ( should be included if not download from nero website) make dvd- dvd-video. from there add JUST the vobs and you can make your own menu in the next page. Nero will build the entire structure for you. its not the most professional solution, but it is very simple.
