Is there any way in an IFO file to change what menu loads first? And what menu appears when the user presses the Root Menu or Title Menu button on their remote?

I looked through the guides but didn't see anything like that.

TIA!

This MAY be easy.

Let's say you want the Chapter menu to be loaded instead of the Root menu when you press the Root menu button.

Try to exchange the 'Root menu' with the 'PTT (chapter) menu' using the 'Set PGC Menu Type' of PgcEdit.
That MAY work, although there may be some problems, like being unable to go to the original Root menu anymore... so carefully check the result before burning!
Fixing this prob requires to modify the VM commands of some PGCs. Unfortunately, there are tons of ways to author a DVD. It's therefore impossible to propose an universal method in a guide. You'll have to learn...

That's sort of what I want.

I want to rip a TV DVD with several episodes. I just want to put one episode (and its special features) on one disc. There is already a menu that has all the links for that content set up.

I just wanted to find a way to make it the first menu that loads, that loads when the titles are done playing, and if the user presses the Title Menu or Root Menu buttons on their remote.

I've never heard of PGCedit before. Will try playing around with it.

Thanks!
