Hi,

I have a WMV file (home made video passed on from my friend) which has a terrible Audio/Video sync issue. How can I fix it? I cannot ask for a re-rip of the file etc. I need to fix this itself.

The latest VirtualDubMOD isn't working for this and someone suggested me to go get an older version. I tried v1.2, v1.3c and v1.4-asf but they error out trying to open the file.

Then I downloaded Windows Media Encoder 9 series and fiddled around with it. Doesn't help either.:(

Can someone help me here please. I tried using the search function but didn't get any relevant results. If this issue has been addressed before, I apologize. Just point me to it.

Thanks

go to start->all->programs->accesories-> Windows movie maker. this microsoft product deals strictly with WMV content. Although im not to familiar with it reencoding or editing from there should be more relevant.just fiddle with the options and stuff. Please reply soon!

Thanks for replying Bushido56. I had kinda lost hope since no one was replying..

Drat, just 1 week ago I got rid of the Windows Movie Maker because I wasn't using it and thought is was a waste of disk space. I will reinstall it, fiddle around and get back to you.

This post is just an acknowledgement.:)
