LCD Television Information Needed

Hey!
I have an physics assignment I have to do over these holidays and I chose to do it on the Physics behind LCD televisions. I need a range of sources, all the information can't be off the internet. If someone could talk to me about it that would be awesome or if someone has a good article in a magazine or newspaper they could email me that would be awesome also.

If you need to lay your hands on some hardcopy of factory specs and display properties, your local electronics distributors would be a valuable source of information, whether it's a huge chain outlet, like Best Buy, or a local Mom and Pop store. Just tell the salesperson what you're up to, and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to give you a hand with your assignment.

Your local library should have several books on the subject in the technology section. They also have copy machines from which you can make copies of the relevant pages you need. I spent a LOT of time in libraries throughout my schooling.

If you want cutting edge, a REALLY good library will have IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics. That will have the latest and greatest papers on hi-tech consumer stuff like HDTV and flatpanel sets.

Actually LCD TV differs from standard CRT TV in display section. Same sections are Tuner, MF and Tone. Since most of new televisions are partially digital and have digital picture processing there is even much similarity in picture section.
