Last night I left 2 DVDs to back-up on Batch Mode/One Click.
Moron of me set same working directory for both projects. Good enough, I had only last movie in it. If it is not too much of a drag, Jdobbs, would you set some kind of prompt window asking for confirmation on delete of the previous one, as you have in the normal 3 click mode. Just a small favor to idiots like me...I won't make same mistake again!

Ha... you can't imagine how many times I've done that.

The problem is that if I do that, and have 4 or 5 backups planned, it will stop and I don't find out until the next morning. I just decided it was better to leave the warnings off.

why dont you just have it look quick if there is a folder already created (Cant remember the default folder name dvdrb creates) and if there is a folder in the working directory with the same name have it add a 1 to the end of the name.. if there is already a 1 have it add a 2. i dont know how difficult this would be but i would think not more difficult that coding the program itself.

Even easier would be to automatically rename the dir if it already exists. This would only go one level deep unless you do it so it renames it to SAVED1_D2VAVS and then renames that to SAVED2_D2VAVS when a new SAVED1_D2VAVS is needed.. etc.

Wanna hear what I just did (no!), after anxiously waiting for the encoding to finish and it finally did.. I hit Prepare and Yes like a zombie! Boy am I pleased.

I hit abort quickly and thought the files can surely be recovered still.. nope.. stupid recovery software are useless.

I know it's the dumbest user error yet, but jdobbs.. could you make it so the PREPARE button is RED or even disabled when the rebuilder.inf reads progress=2. Boohooo... :(

just turn off 'disable warnings' and you will get a warning prompt about erasing D2VAVS.

I did get a warning, but I'm like that 3-fingered carpenter who lost the proper respect for the circular saw. :D
