Donnie Darko NTSC, everything was kept
Ive encoded it with cce sp 2.67.00.10, recuilder 55b, 5pass vbr, the output was put into image with imgtool classic and burnt with dvd decrypter 3.2.2.0 at 4x ritek media. the error encountered was where the audio was out of sync for 2minutes then it eventually was back in sync. it was 16mins into the movie not at a chapter break.

where it glitches, if just rewind to a little bit after the audio sync error it fixes itself.

Is that somewhere near the middle of the film? Possibly the layer break?
I'd also look for an undersize.. is the VIDEO_TS dir 4.32GB, or is it less? That might indicate an unfinished chunk. Some players would freeze the image (sound continues) while others might warp into the next moving part while sound is left behind.
I had this when half of a large chunk was missing. DVD-RB compiled the movie ok but it came out 4.15GB (of 4.32GB) and exhibited that kind of behavior when it reached the faulty part.
I too have noticed problems with audio sync. The audio would
drift on series DVD's (West Wing 1 & 2, Cheers, etc).
My solution was to use a older version of Mpeg2Dec3, the one
with the lost frame bug.

You mean not use decodefix110? Because I use that one on all PC's and its worked fine and has the jdobbs stamp of approval.
Joergen,
I only use the old version of the dll when I encounter a problem
with audio sync otherwise I use the Donald Graft version.

My friend usually watches me post my messages, and watches the movies with me. He posted it this message not me and he has my password so it wasn't hard. Sorry about that Joergen

No problem. :) Since there are a few people with audio drift problems it would be nice if they all posted here with their details.

I just experienced the same problem with one of my Farscape discs, so I went back to check out a couple of others that I hadn't tested yet and sure enough, I found another one (also from one of my Farscape discs). One of them is from 0.55b, and the other was done with an older version, but I can't say which one for sure. It was about 3-4 weeks ago so I know it was whatever the most current version at that time was.
Both discs were run through other programs before backup. I used DVD Remake Pro to process the first one, and the one I just did was reauthored with DVD Shrink. I still have the sources I ran through DVD-RB for both of them so I'll take a look at them to see if I can find any similarities. I think both of them were at the start of chapters, but I'll have to look again to say for sure.
I'm encoding with CCE Basic 2.69.01.09

Could you make sure to try the disc without any 3rd party preprocessing? This kind of problem is easy to inadvertently cause when removing things...

Yes, I was planning on doing that this weekend anyway just to make sure.

Okay, I tried encoding one of them without any pre-processing and I didn't get any audio sync problems. However, I'm not convinced it was the pre-processing that caused it in the first place because I redid the same disc from the same DVD Shrink processed files that I used the first time, and it doesn't have sync problems either.
