Is it legal to have a blank PGC in the title domain?

What I call 'blank PGC' is a PGC with some pre commands, but without video cells and programs. IfoEdit do not complain in such situation.

I ask this question because if it is possible to create a new, blank PGC in the title domain, then it would be possible to use the 'Return' button to jump to that PGC, and process any action, like jumping back to the previous title in DVDShrink reauthored movies.

By the way, this is the kind of PGC that is usually referred to as "dummy PGC".

Also, if you add more than one PGC to a title, you lose some of the navigation and timer functionality.

Pitty :(

My intention is not to add this PGC to the title, but create this PGC in the same domain but without any relation with the title (ie it is floating around, without reference in the VMG table of titles, nor any chapter, program or cell related to the title).

I was thinking it is possible because IfoEdit is leaving such a dummy PGC if you strip all VOB IDs of a title from a multi-title titleset (it doesn't allow however to strip all VOB IDs from the titleset, thus making it impossible to strip a single-title titleset).

Anyway, thanks for the info.

No such luck - all the Prev/Next/GoUp PGC numbers can only refer to a PGC within the current title.

However, this is working with IfoEdit's preview.

But that's OK. I don't want to do illegal stuff with PgcEdit.

Thanks again.
